Even though I didn’t make the Gargoyle project for this purpose, it happened to be ready for publishing just before Halloween.
I made it to test out some new features in version 3.8, like object constraints, alpha hashed transparency, and (Eeevee) AO.
I also wanted to see if combined shape key and armature animation of a mid-poly model with 4K PBR textures would work well and fast enough.
For the time being, I had to replace Normal maps with Bump maps because of a weird issue and had to drop the use of AO because of ghosting issues.
(I posted both issues/bugs on the forum.)
Anyway, I am amazed at how much Verge3D has improved again. A joy to work with! Here is the result for now:
Happy Halloween to all of you,
Simone
