This would revolutionize the web landscape completely. If the tools in verge 3d are integrated into Webflow overtime we will see a new market of creative 3d web artistry emerge.

It would allow for a whole generation of 3d Artists to have access to the tools to create a website platform that they never had access to. 3D interactive websites made by creators will allow 3d Artists to present their portfolios of work in a fully interactive way.

Verge3D could be the premier platform for these 3D interactive websites that are both creator and business focused. If these tools are easily integrated into website creation platforms like Webflow and 3D artists are targeted through advertising, there is the potential for an explosion of a new market with Verge3D with their foot in the door. A grassroots 3D artist movement to truly revolutionise the web. Just think of the possibilities if these tools are used by creatives like Beeple,Corridor Digital,Ian Hubert,communities of 3D artists, social media communities and more. The potential is insane, look at the links below and imagine that but interactive on a website.

It would open up the space to a myriad of different artists and get even more people into the 3D space and at least familiarize them with the concept of coding. I just need you to let your imagination run wild with this idea, the possibilities are endless. It doesn’t just have to be a software for displaying products, making architecture models or small games. It could be so much more.

I hope you consider it, this sounds like a massive opportunity to be at the forefront of a new 3D web market focused on creatives.

I do not fully understand the limitations of using Webflow yet.
Can we currently build a ecommerce site using webflow and integrate the the verge3d app in it?
I started a yearly subscription with webflow, but i am not sure if this is possible. I honestly do not have the intention to create a wordpress site with woocommerce m, maintaining that, and only use webflow to create the Custom controls for the configurators.

So is it possible to create everything with webflow?

I was able to add the iframe dynamically to the product.
But adding a price dynamically isn’t possible i think.
So kind of stuck there.

It’s imposible to configure a price based on the 3d model (with verge3d) in webflow, because webflow not allow to run any third party code inside of it that would be needed to do such think. So it’s better to use webflow only to create an html interface for your configurator and then integrate it to your own e-commerce site based on wordpress.

That’s fair enough Mikhail and Yuri, makes complete sense. Was wondering if you guys have ever thought of reaching out to them, could be a really cool collaboration then they’d allow the third party code in there. They could be quite receptive to the integration, you never know.
