    Hi!

    I found this strange behavior: I get very low FPS values when using the “print performance info” puzzle (like 8-14 fps). But if I enable the (F,F,F) frame rate in the viewport, I get a frame rate of 60 FPS. The viewport is really smooth, too. When I run the print performance puzzle, I can see how the frame rate drops to around 30 for a second. Still it prints a framerate of around 10 FPS.

    Anyone else noticed the same thing? Any idea what’s going on here? How should one interpret the value given by the puzzle vs the frame rate in the viewport?

    Thanks!
    Adam

    a lot of calculations to get statistics – an FPS drop for a short period of time. just don’t look at that value.

    Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.

    If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

    Thanks for the quick response! Is there any way to show the FPS counter without using the (F,F,F) command. I can’t do that when I have a HTML wrapper on my Verge3D app.

    app.showFPS();
