    Hi there,

for my next project i want to create a scenery you can walk through,
using the first person camera in max.

I´ve been looking at all the ducumantation i found so far…
And also the Floortest sample created with blender.

as far as i undestood it i only need to create a colision material.
This material should prevent the camera from going through walls etc.
and prevent the camera from leaving the predefined floor.
    No physics etc needed….?

So far so good…..But it doesn´t work.
The camera goes through walls and leaves the ground.

    Did i miss something essential?

yes, just cover the walkable space with a collision material, which you should also assign to the first-person camera.

Make cuts in the collision geometry to define walls and other non-accessible places

Does it work in the sneak peak view or do i have to save it as a gltf
and open it through the app manager?

    Hi Yuri….

its working now….had to do with the unit settings…

But now the camera is looking straight upwards by default when loading.

    Any ideas about that?

please make sure that the normal vector is up – or make the collision material double-sided
