Is there a simple way to disable render when where is no user activity in the V3d scene or even in the parent document, and enable it only when there is some activity. Im search for the best possible solution. I’m actually more concerned about enabling the render after a user interaction. since there may be many different types of interactions in the parent element, im worried maybe the render will enable after the interaction is over and thus not reflect the necessary change. Just wondering if there is a ready solution inbult in v3d. or some best practice to follow ? i found this thread in the forum https://www.soft8soft.com/topic/disable-render-loop/, but i guess its outdated now. but something like this would be a great solution. Appreciate any help !! Thank You !!

    Hi JasonOliver,

Maybe something like this can work for you? :

but this puzzle set will react only to the scene camera rotation. and if you have animations or some other actions triggered by clicking or hovering this variant won’t do.

Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

    hi,

Thank you for the replies and apologies for the late reply.

This will not work for me, because my camera is stationary.
    Maybe il try using JS.

I use the puzzle editors exec script to run JS as im not a a coder, just use chat gpts help to get what i need. In the puzzles, Is there any way i can control where the JS is placed in the code. As this listener will need to be placed right on top ( executed before any thing else ) ?
