Customizing Jersey in Website

My issue is that when I alter the color of the jersey using the color buttons on my customization website, my imported picture vanishes. I’m currently using Cyberfox 2D Canvas Editor to import and manipulate images in my 3D jersey customization page. How can I alter the color of my jersey without having it effect the imported image? I’m new to the blender’s shading section. What nodes should I use and how should I design it? I watched the Cyberfox 2D Canvas Editor video tutorial, however it didn’t work for me.
