    Hello,

I want to make my own annotations because we need to implement some external code to our project.

So I created a plane object and put an image on it.
Now I want the plane to always face the camera.
In blender it works just fine (img 1), but if I export it I just can see the object from a weird angle (img 2). I used the standard properties (img 3) for this but also tried other settings.

I also tried the damped track constraint and did it with puzzles in Verge3D. The plane does track the camera then but it rotates around itself in a weird way.

    Can anyone help me?

I’ve just checked it out and it’s working as expected. Share your .blend to see what’s wrong.

Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

Remove the constraint, rotate the plane around X axis by 90°, apply rotation (Ctrl+A), add the constraint back.

That’s because of different coordinate systems: Z-Up-Right in Blender and Y-Up-Right in Verge3D/THREE.js

Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.
