Hi,
I have an odd behaviour in that I can’t Close Annotation on an annotation I made in Puzzles. I even tried assigning it to a button to double check, but it doesn’t seem to work.
Is there any default CSS that I could be missing which would make this malfunction?
It’s odd, because the annotation opens with that puzzle absolutely fine. I can force the behaviour by doing a display:none for poi1_dialog. But I can’t think of why the close annotation puzzle wouldn’t work?
Also – if you hide the ‘object’ an annotation is bound to (for instance, will that imply its annotation dot and dialog? So you could use a hide object puzzle with a group/blender collection to hide all at once?

Some of the built-in functionality is unfortunately out of reach from puzzles. It appears as though you can only use the open and close annotation puzzles when targeting an annotation label and not the ID. I would expect the opposite behavior. I want an annotation with no label, but that leaves me to control its visibility through CSS (which is problematic in other ways for me).

I also have this problem. I need to control the show/hide using the status of a variable. Currently, I have a situation where the variable is in the True state, but none of the three options for opening the annotation works.
I would like to have more control over the behavior of annotations, at least the ability to disable the automatic show/hide mode on mouse click.Attachments:

I was a little confused by the name. So there is the html element id, the annotation dialog text, there is also the first field, and then the name option on top?

Currently I can’t use the annotation label to close an annotation because my annotations are just dots provided for interaction with the model; they can’t include text. I also can’t close them using the “name” field, because for some reason that adds text to the annotation as well. I’m hoping we see a fix soon.
