I have a particle emitter that projects one particle.

I can see no puzzle piece that will allow the control of the emitter; on click activate emitter = projectile fired who’s movement is independent of the originating geometry.

If I use animation, the path of object fired changes with the movement of the object that it originates from.

Has anyone managed to get something like this to work?

    Thanks.

Unfortunately, particles/emitters are not supported in V3D.
Since its a single particle…you could just use the physics engine.

See the physics demo. It has info on how setup an object that is fired from different positions.
