Both only change moving/rotating/scaling an object relatively to the original position/rotation/scale.

Does anyone have a practical example to show me the differences between Set Transform (offset) vs change local transform? Would be nice to see

“Set position/rotation” (with or without offset) works in the parent’s (or world’s) coordinates. “Change local position/rotation” works in the object’s local coordinates. Scaling in both cases works only in the object’s local coordinates.

Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

Thanks, I’ll look this up later for sure. BTW, hope you can answer my latest post in this thread:

Puzzles to slide animation along an X or Y-axis, using keyboard events?
