Hi there,
i am trying to get a animation into Verge which in blender is based on a wave modifyer. The wave animates a plane, and the plane in turn trough a shrinkwrap 12 fingerlike strutures which now go down and up in a wavelike way, mimicking the movement of the wave.
When i transfer that scene with the animation to verge, its not working.
Hi! Modifiers not working in the engine. Only way to export it is to Apply it as shapekeys or made with Skin Modifier with armature. For example you can create a different steps of wave with a multiple amount of shapekey, then animate then as you want and export to the engine.
Another thing i stumbled upon i that i have to point the normals for a model inwards to see it in verge. Funy thing is, when i light the scene the object shows only the light of a lamp which stands behind the object, that is, light coming from a direction in which the normal point. Confusing …

Try to change Shadows setting Map Side, if in set to Back change it to Front or Double Sided.
