    These artifacts only appear on mobile (5 different devices tested, iOS and Android).

    This shows only on the mobiles, PC (Chrome, FF) and Mac (Safari) are fine.

    As soon as I turn off Ambient Occlusion, everything is working fine on mobile. Also on the mobile, the antialiasing is pretty horrid.

    Things I’ve tried :mail: :

    Shadow biases
    Different Shadow Settings in export settings
    Camera Environment ranges
    Materials & geometry
    Mobile scale puzzle
    Scene Scaling :wacko:

    I dont have a solution but you might want a temporary work around.

    I think you could use the “feature available Mobile Device” puzzle to turn off AO depending the device in use or other conditions you set.

    At least it would allow you to use it where it works well and turn it off when it doesn’t.

    Any update on this?
    I came to a point where I just enable AO in any of the bundled apps and there is the same effect on mobiles. Is this a bug?

    Hi, these artefacts look similar to the ones reported here: https://www.soft8soft.com/topic/ao-issue-on-mobile-device/.
    They should be fixed in the upcoming verge3d update (next week most likely).
