Hi kdv,
I have been using your plugin for IOS for quite some time and it works great.
It might be off topic since it is IOS related, but I can’t use the AR on Android. I mean even the Augmented reality demo app from verge3d doesn’t work (it says my device is not comptabile but is a recent samsumg) or doesn’t do anything.
Have you developed a plugin for android by any chance ? Would be happy to buy it as long as I can export my object (only static mesh, no animation needed).
Thank you

At least you should install
AR Core
from the Market (if your device supports it. if not, WebXR-based AR mode won’t work on your phone).Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.
If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

I took the time to check on different Android Phones with AR core downloaded and I still have the same issue. All the phone I have tried are able to do AR but it doesn’t work for verge3d AR.
When I activate from my app, it asks me the authorization to make a 3D scan of my environment + position of my camera but then nothing happen. I try to click again and nothing happenI have even tried with verge3D augmented reality demo with the farmer and I have the same issue !
With Iphone no issue at all..
Any suggestion ?

@Yuri : You are right, it doesn’t work only when using Samsung internet browser. It either freeze my phone or nothing happen. I guess I can ask my client to notify his users to only use chrome or safari.Since the AR functionality is working, I have noticed that am still far from the Farmer demo result.. The background is black and it doesn’t even try to scan the ground.
I have tried to follow each step, have I missed something ?Here is my app :

You didn’t enable the
transparent backgroud
option on the Init tab.Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.

That’s right.! I missed this option
Now, I am getting very close to get it down.. One last thing that hold me back, may I ask you why my “Plant” (which is an empty of several object) appear where my phone is ? It appears instantly (floating in the air) and not on the target when I click on it.

2024-02-09 at 11:05 am #70335jojopellerinCustomerI checked that. The origin is good (see my blender viewport SC). Also, when it exports my USDZ, it is centered.
The issue here, is that the plant appears instantly (right after the camera turn into AR mode) at the location of the phone itself. While the plant remains floating in the air at the same spot, I can start to swipe the floor and then my “indicator_invis_plane” appears as it should be.
Also, even if I click on the “indicator_invis_plane”, the plant stay at the same location. Basically nothing happen.

You did some mistake (maybe in puzzles, maybe in Blender) and without files it’s difficult to figure out what’s wrong. And it’s not a good idea to discuss AR for Android in the topic about AR for iOS…

2024-02-09 at 11:27 am #70341jojopellerinCustomerI understand, makes sense.
Thanks for your feed back.2024-05-16 at 2:13 pm #74259psParticipantHi kdv,
Does this plugin support UI buttons inside AR Quick Look, so that features such as annotations can be toggled. I can load a 3D model using the AR puzzle and I need support for buttons and annotations. Please let me know.
Thanks.

We’re experiencing some issues with the plugin in combination with Verge 4.7.1. Will there be a update in the plugin?
Thanks in advance!
