    Hello,

    I see there are a few online questions about this that are unanswered.
    maya 2020 on Catalina
    App Manager opening the related Maya file with a new Maya instance.
    It launches a second instance of Maya, and keeps launching new instances every-time I click the Maya icon,
    It means a tiresome work around, is there anything I can do here good people?

    This is solved, Maya icon is just to initially launch the maya file, not swap between Manager and maya.

    Right, you can start Maya as usual and then just open the file from your app folder.
