    Hello
I enabled AO in 3ds max, using standard values using the verge export plugin

But when I export no map gets generated

Any idea what I’m doing wrong

I noticed that there is a scooter_ao_map inside the scooter example, did verge generate this?
If not, how would I generate it?

If you want dynamic AO check out this demo https://cdn.soft8soft.com/demo/max/ambient_occlusion/ambient_occlusion.html

If you want static AO you need to bake it (in Substance Painter, for example).

    No

Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

No, it was baked manually. Verge3D do not generates AO map. When you enable AO in the Verge3D settings it enables dynamic SSAO on the scene, so no maps will be baked AO generates dynamicaly.
