Hi, the new AO works very well but still 1 issue with anti-aliasing, although i set to MSAA-16x or FXAA it still very jaggy.
Can we fix it or make it smoother?

Where is this setting? In Blender?

2022-02-09 at 8:22 am #49204Yuri KovelenovStaffhi,
you can try increasing the resolution with set screen scale

2022-03-09 at 9:19 am #50039YorickCustomerThis has been reported by us already half a year ago:
We are desperate for a solution: it has an extremely big impact on some of our models with a lot of straight lines.
We are running the latest version and also tried out the pre release of 4.0 pre1.
Even with a pixel ratio of 2 (resulting in 3.3m pixels) it still doesn’t look good.
Attached you can find a comparison between pixel ratio 1 vs 2: equally bad.
We really NEED a fix for this. Can we please get an update about this ASAP?

2022-06-14 at 2:26 pm #53065YorickCustomerWe are still desperate for a better implementation.
Can we please get an update when this will be fixed? This has already been reported in September 2021.2022-06-14 at 7:03 pm #53067xeonCustomerWatching…hoping for a fix. Has anyone tried on 4.0 production release yet? We wont be switching to 4.0 for a few more weeks. Fingers crossed.

Looks like 2013 graphics.2022-06-16 at 4:09 pm #53202kdvParticipantCan we … make it smoother?
try to enable SSAA to improve the picture…
SSAA 2x
app.enableSSAA(1, false);
SSAA 4x
app.enableSSAA(2, false);
p.s. but this will increase CPU/GPU load significantly. be carefull with mobile platforms )))
p.p.s. and it won’t help )))
Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.
If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.
2022-06-21 at 6:49 am #53411dragosburianCustomerNothing helps the aliasing effect when using AO.
It is just something the Verge team will have to solve in order to keep up with the competition. -
