I am really happy to announce the beta version of our new e-commerce configurator for books is online !!
Below I leave you the access links to a page and to the tutorials of the application which is quite complex.
I’m sorry it’s in Italian!
But from the videos and from the use it’s easy understand how it works.
There are 4 self-publishing configuration modules that configure the book before the shopping cart.
There are 3 Wizard Modules dedicated to each of the 3 main literary categories (fiction, Essays-manuals-guides, illustrated or photographic).
The calculation module is completely connected to the Verge environment, so any changes made in the classic configurator are reflected in the 3D environment and vice versa.
In addition to the dimensional verification of the book, it is possible to create the cover starting from the possibility of choosing among the templates that we provide for each literary genre.
Through a menu on the left you can change the characteristics of the book (format, finish, type of cover, options for the cover, upload an image for the cover, upload an image for the author, etc.)
By double clicking on the book you access the possibility of editing all the elements that make up the book:
reposition texts and images,
change fonts, colors, line spacing (with routines done in js before Yuri made the new miltilinea puzzle available! :))
change positions of the biography, of the synopsis
It is also possible to load (by pressing on the crystal ball placed at the base of the book) an already made cover layot and verify its fitting on the designed book.
In modification, by clicking on the pen once, you access the approval of the layout.
The user can archive his project locally and load it later to continue working on it.
It is a beta version. I recognize it is very heavy.
