Ambitous Verge3D + Blender Engineer for CPQ projects

At Hive CPQ we make kickass configurators for our customers. We have our own engine and platform and use Verge3D for the visualization part. Our platform is constantly evolving and believe me: you’re in for a ride!

You can find some example of what we do here:

• Outdoor configurator
• Roof configurator
• Door configurator

We’re looking for long-term reinforcements (freelance) for our 3D team.
You should:

• be a teamplayer: we build together
• have solid Verge3D knowledge
• have experience in Blender (clean geometry, good topology, UV mapping, texturing, node materials, morphing, pivot points, collections, scene optimizing, animations, tweening)
• have knowledge of GIMP, or other similar image manipulation tools
• be familiar with Substance Painter
• have solid scripting knowledge in JS, or other scripting languages
• be a logical thinker, have the ability to take note from simple examples and be able to extrapolate and build complex, ingenious solutions from them.
• be compatible with our timezone (CET)

Our CPQ engineers will provide you with all the necessary variables and values to make the 3D model re/interactive, but we will expect you to be able to script the advanced logic inside the model as well.
You will be supported by our senior 3D engineer.

We have a project for Q1 2025 that we would like to use as a start: the initial workload would be +/- 200 hours.
