I am working on a virtual environment and would like to create a first-person character. I followed the instructions on this web page: Physics Guide, but it doesn’t seem to work.

Could someone review and provide any tips?

In the provisional link below, I had to enable the “Allow Panning” option and set a value for “Movement Speed,” unlike what is mentioned in the guide, just to be able to navigate the scene.

Another issue is that the app’s loaded files are around 200 MB, but it takes a while to open. Surprisingly, it takes about 5 minutes to load, but at least on my smartphone, it runs very well. Any suggestions on how to improve this?

Hi, using physics to simulate character movements might require more effort (it’s more like for full-featured games). I’d recommend stick to first-person camera instead. This camera can also be easily integrated with VR controls.

Thank you for the feedback and the link. I’ll put in more effort.
