I am again coming across a situation where 100s of parts in scene are there and out of them several are animated.
I do not want any of them to Auto start & repeat infinitely …at all.
Now the problem is I have to do the uncheck auto start manually for every object.
OR
There is another way to apply this uncheck by using copy to selected objects option. However I feel considering the user’s work flow and efficient handling, there is a need to provide some setting in Verge to disable the “Auto Start” by default. So this unwanted headache is bypassed.
An interesting part is, when user needs to enable “Auto Start” he will do it only when he assigns some animation but funny thing is he unnecessary has to select the object & uncheck “Auto Start” even when he doesn’t need to touch them.
I hope this production experience based suggestion would add value to Verge.

Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.
If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

I guess the screenshot is the motivation factor for development of almost all production grade softwares. The recent example is the pre-loader customization given in Verge 4.5

Well, create your own add-on for Blender and try to apply this standard way on practice…

I am not a developer.
I look forward verge to implement this as feature possibly.Thats the software’s rating in global market based upon its ease of handling than some tricky & curvy ways of getting things done.

2024-01-27 at 4:15 pm #69962xeonCustomerVisualizer…. I know the pain all to well. I have asked for this of Soft8Soft a long time ago…. an ability to be set to the default off too as most objects are not animated and definitely never want them to loop or start automatically. It seems it would just be an easy solution to make those off by default…but the currently philosophy is to make the program easier for a newb rather than a pro. Sort of like hiding the Blender GLTF export by default. This program is not geared to the pro…. maybe one day.
So for now…the only only options are puzzles, a script to turn them off in your 3D app or make the change in the code itself. No other options. Fingers crossed…one day they listen to those that use this regularly and set that to default off or make it a setting that can be controlled in their plugin…its such a complete waste of time.Xeon

Many times I see that, the suggestions or features we proposed are died or buried here without any notice or acknowledgement. I don’t say that they all should be respected but I definitely say that, they all must be acknowledged by Team ( by keeping them in the road map list or something by saying YES or NO) rather than users / experts & amateures. I am working on the leading edge of Industry 4.0 & IoT as well as IRA field with future of Omniverse level activities. I know the potential and importance of the UI/UX.
As correctly said by you, why verge team removed that simple option of gltf from blender menu? when its few clicks to disable by any user.
Why Verge implemented the pre-loader customization feature? When it was possible through few tricky ways.
If everything is seen this way then Verge shall not exist at all. But still it does ! this says all by itself.End of the day any damn software of this world, may it be a Microsoft or a verge3D or even a small notepad like tool… They all work to increase production level efficiency of the tool for LOW or NO code users ! Which is of course very perfect.
I am seeing verge as a future’s one of the leading WebVR related powerful gaming & interactive engines. I applied it in couple of serious level projects as well. 4 axis robot example shared here & further advanced 6 axis robot will share soon. These are the industry proven examples. Verge has way to go ahead. In such cases I feel to contribute to its excellence.
A quote here I must put – If being a hard core coder you see a way to travel to moon as a finger tip job… It doesn’t mean that, its that easy for everyone on the earth. Similarly as a LOW or NO coder what we clearly see perhaps coder’s can’t even imagine ! It is just because they are in their SILO of self comfort zone. Any successful software is a perfect equilibrium of Developer, Creator & End user. Note if the string is pulled by one end, it means it is away from other two & has lost the equilibrium.
Developers / Coders & people like us work hand in hand.
Coders can not get the direction without our contribution & we can not get the tools without their contribution.
That’s the way of the world! A perfect equilibrium in its own ! We all work to make it as flawless as possible. Thats what the progress is ! ! !- This reply was modified 10 months, 3 weeks ago by visualizer.
