Hey all,
I’m having trouble saving my application as a desktop app through the Electron exporter. For some reason it just stops after a minute or so of the ‘saving application’ screen.
As I’m using Verge3D through my work computer, I thought it might be an issue with firewalls/security so I downloaded the Electron binaries and saved them directly in the app folder (is that the right place?) but still not working.
I checked the logs and it seems to be a Timeout error (screenshot attached).
Please can someone help with this? I have a deadline tomorrow!!

Hi, thanks for replying so quick! As the software update is managed by the company I work for, it might take some time to get the newest version (sadly).
In the mean time, I tried downloading the Electron binaries already – am I right in thinking they go directly into the folder for the application you want to export, or should they be somewhere else?
Is there anything else I can try?

C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\Soft8Soft\Verge3D for Blender
then launch the builder again.

Unfortunately I can’t find that folder. I suspect it is an issue that needs to be resolved by my company’s IT team. Thank you for your time anyway

Okay so the version of Electron that you can download from the Verge3D docs is different to the one you linked to (v19.0.4 in your message versus v22.3.15 in the docs). I don’t know if that’s because the new update of verge uses a different version of Electron but once I got the correct version it has actually worked. Thank you!
