This all worked fine in the previous version of verge but since I updated to 4.2 now my materials in sneak peak and local host show as black. i have updated the application in verge manager and checked the glTF 2.0 compatible check box in the verge tab in the material settings. Any ideas

and checked the glTF 2.0 compatible check

What for? This option is for compatibility with other engines (pure THREE.js, for example) or functions (export to USDZ or glTF puzzles, for example) which do not support Verge3D node materials.

Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

Ah ok, checked it and it worked, must have been coincidence. this does have a lot of puzzles to create a the UI which i didnt write and sadly the person who did passed away with so much knowledge so i am trying to understand the code. It also uses puzzles to reference a spreadsheet to enable user material changes but this no longer works either since the update and I have no idea why!

Hi! Are there any errors reported in the browser console?
