animation loop on scroll

I am making something similar to the knife scrolling demo and so far it works but I’d like my animation to keep looping as long as you keep scrolling. Do I:

1. repeat the keyframes of the animation over and over in blender as long as the total scroll length?

2. use puzzels to loop the animation in conjunction with the scroll of the page somehow? and this, dear reader, is my question… how do I do that?

in the demo the camera (for example) turns only once around the knife; I’d like the camera to keep turning around and around and around as long as people keep scrolling.
