    Hello.

I need to snap an object to the surface of another object and limit its movement when dragging with the mouse to the size of this object.

For example, place an shelf on a wall within this wall by dragging.

I can using “snap” but if I using “dragged move” object not snapping

You don’t need to snap the object to the wall. Use constrains to limit its movement along exes.

First, limit the object’s position in the space.

Then just measure the distance and change constraints.

P.S. The puzzles that allow to set/remove constraints are in the Animation section. I don’t know why )))

Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.
