    Hi,

I have been trying to find a way to animate an environment (.hdr) map’s strength – obviously this is easy to keyframe in Blender, but it does not animate on export to Verge3D

Is there a way to animate the brightness of the environment map please?

PS – I have tried using a mp4 animated environment map, but that doesn’t export at all.

    Thanks.

The animation of word not allowed because it can cause extreme slow down of application, but only changing of the parameters through puzzles Set Value and RGB possible.

    Hi,

Thanks – I’ll try that and see if it works.

On the same note, I also enabled the “Sun Position” addon that ships with Blender – this enables the correct animation of the sun’s position for a given geolocation, time, and date – this also fails to animate which is a real problem – Is it possible to bake this animation set perhaps?

If it’s an animation of position and rotation you can try to bake then into keyframes using blender animation baker, but I never used this addon and can’t promise a result, but you can try.

Thanks – Ill try that as well.

PS, how do you animate a value (brightness for example) in Puzzles?
