    Hi,

Just wondering best way to handle doors? I’ve set up the first person camera control in Blender. Made my collider floor mesh/material. Cut out holes for where the walls are. Cut holes but left the hole plug in place for the doors. What I thought I could do in puzzles is disable those door “hole plugs” to “lock” the door. When I unlock the door and open it I can then enable those “hole plug” objects to allow the user to walk through the door.

It doesn’t work. Even when I remove the hole plug objects in puzzles the FP camera can still walks through the closed doors. What am I missing?

Is there anyway of telling the FP camera to re-calculate the collider material because of changes?

    Cheers.

    Hi,

with this simplified camera collision feature you cannot dynamically add and remove floors.

You should consider using full-scale physics for this purpose.
