Hi,
I think an easy to implement puzzle element for the list puzzles would be to have “if clicked/hovered/variable IS “FOUND” in a list” .. then etc..This is as opposed to using the ≠ -1 technique that i think is counter intuitive and easily overlooked as to it’s power in organizing user behavior results.
I’ve made a simple example here just to show the concept, but you still have to use the (counter intuitive) “NOT” puzzle in the IF statement.
the ≠ -1 technique:
VS. the same thing, but wrapped in a more intuitive way:
Since puzzles are here to make coding easier for the dev / artist. i think things like this would help open people’s eyes to simple things that save a lot of time and energy as opposed to not being used.
Thnx!

I think it would be convenient to have a puzzle something like “is [SOMETHING] in (or not in) list [myLIST]”, which would return true/false, so you wouldn’t need to use an additional “not” puzzle and a puzzle “=” for comparing the result with -1 or “FOUND” or anything else.
Thanks for raising the issue, we’ve added this task to our TODO list.
