    Hi,
    Concerning the “animate param” puzzle,

What’s the best way to control it non-linearly? As in the sample setup in the user manual link, it’s cycling through colors, which is what I want to do and is no problem when you leave it on its own, but I haven’t found a practical way to control that finely with user input.

I’ve done this before, don’t remember how.
Changing material values with variables, no problem..

But how to scroll back and forth through the red, green, blue 3 digit value lists live is confounding me.

I made an easier solution, which was keyframe the rgb values in Blender’s timeline and scroll through that.

That works fine, but I’d need to rename animations, for more than my first object to work… and that’s been fruitless..

Is there an easy approach to cycling through rgb colors as lists controlled by live variables instead of just playing an animation through that puzzle?

    Stumped!

    Thanks. :good:

Ok. Right. Here’s a solution for anyone tat comes across this.
In blender I gave the material a color ramp of red at each end green at .33 blue at .66 . then used a value node into the Z of a combine xyz node, into a mapping node’s location input..then it to the colour ramp’s fac.

In verge, I can change the value nude value from 0 to 3 and since my object is a graphic in a flat plane on the Z, the colors rise up through it, cycling on the surface.
