Hi,
today I installed Verge3D (trial version) on my Windows 10 machine.
I opened Blender 2.82, went to Addons, looked under ‘Official’ and ‘Community’ section but Verge3D is missing.
I also reopened Blender, but still the same.Then I downloaded the Verge3D addon from GitHub as zip file.
In Blender I installed this zip-file in the addon section of preferences and renamed the folder ‘verge3d-blender-addon-master’ into ‘verge3d’.
Then I activated the addon in Blender, but got following error:Traceback (most recent call last):
File “C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender 2.82\2.82\scripts\modules\addon_utils.py”, line 351, in enable
mod = __import__(module_name)
File “C:\Users\MyUsername\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.82\scripts\addons\verge3d\__init__.py”, line 50, in <module>
from pluginUtils.log import printLog
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named ‘pluginUtils’What I am missing please?

thanks for reply.
I deleted the Verge3D folder in my Blender Addons directory (that one I got from installing the Verge3D GitHub Zip file).
The scripts path in Blender preferences is empty (see attached image).I installed 3.0.1 again, but still same, no verge3D addon in the addons of blender (neither in official nor community tab).

unfortunately not, as you can see in the attached screenshot.

I don’t have such a folder, as you can see in the attached image.

Also, can you provide the full path to your Blender addons directory starting frome the drive name. E.g:
C:\Users\MyUsername\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.82\scripts\addons\
Thanks!

you are right it seems the installer is not installing the Blender-Addon at all, even it is enabled in the installer (see attached image).
Yes I have the file you mentioned, and the path to Blender Addons I never changed, it is the original one provided by Blender’s native installation procedure.
It seems there are two places of addons-directory:
1.:
C:\Users\MyUsername\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.82\scripts\addons
(this one contains only one folder called ‘forgotten_tools’)2.:
C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender 2.82\2.82\scripts\addons
(this one contains lots of folders and *.py files)2020-04-15 at 9:09 am #25879Alexander KovelenovStaff2020-04-15 at 9:17 am #25882mrburnsParticipantHi,

2020-04-16 at 9:29 am #25921mrburnsParticipantHi,
for anyone who has the same problem – I found a workaround.
Inside the Verge3D installer I changed the proposed installation target directory (C:\Users\My User Name\verge3d)to C:\verge3d (without any spaces in)
That worked for me.Good luck :)

Expample if i want to make an interactive web about bracelet using Blender and Verge3D, and want to have a custom text feature. So the customer can determine what kind of lettering will be made on their bracelet.
How to make that feature? Thanks before :)
