    Hello,

I use Verge3D as a professional tool and I created a set of Verge3D pages with one serving as a starting menu sending the user towards the others. Does that work well with your network ? I would like to recreate this pages for a local use, without them being connected to the internet, but I’m not quite sure how to do it. Is it even possible ?

    Best regards

    Hi,

The content created with Verge3D is required to be served through a website. Verge3D Network suits this purpose well. You can use your own server instead, for example, a WordPress-powered one for which the Verge3D plugin is available.

You can of course run Verge3D apps locally without Internet connection, using a local webserver, or through the App Manager.

The way I’m trying to set things up is as followed : I would like my main menu to point towards a .html page that would be stored locally, but I’m not quite sure of what to assemble in the puzzle interface. I tried using an “open web page” node and a “call JS function”, both unsuccessfully. I’m afraid I’m not versed enough in scripting and/or using the puzzle interface. Can you see what I’m doing wrong ? I have attached a screenshot, hoping it will help you pin point the problem.

    Thanks for your assistance,

The second when clicked setup on your screenshot should work, provided there is actually such application running on localhost. I tested and it worked for me. The call JS function puzzle is not applicable here.

Thank you for your answer. I think i did it but i can’t open the first file in my tablet ( i try the HTML and it don’t open)

Yep, it will only work on the same machine. For running from a mobile device you can use one of the following methods https://www.soft8soft.com/docs/manual/en/introduction/Testing-Mobile-Browsers.html

The problem is, this is a project I am doing for a client that won’t be able to connect to my local network. If I understand correctly, the methods listed on the link you shared would be linking our mobile device to the informations on my computer. Is that it ?

Thanks again for taking the time to try and help !

I see. Then the only way is to have everything, the main page and the apps, served from a local website.

    Hi Yuri,
Can I use my own CDN, even after the subscription period ends?

Sure! The Verge3D license is perpetual. The maintenance subscription only covers software updates and the use of Verge3D Network.
